Surizon meets with Industry at Africa.com

Surizon has embraced the debate and energy of the Africa.com event in Cape Town. Surizon CCO, Sonja Liversage, said that both the conference and Surizon’s own meetings - with current and future customers - had been a particular success at a key time of growth for telecommunications in Africa.

 

Surizon footprint takes another step

Surizon has announced that a new country has been added to the Surizon map. The deal will see Surizon deploying its NMS solution into the network of another major mobile carrier in sub-Saharan Africa.

 

First installations in Asia

Surizon marked its Asian presence with a first installation of both its FACTS performance reporting solution and its network management system in the region. The installations, running as a trial system with an Asian operator, are expected by both parties to become permanent. Surizon CEO, Michael Stocks, said ‘our investment in Asia from our base in Singapore is showing rapid benefit. The level of interest across the region is very exciting for our company and stakeholders.’

 

Surizon Exhibits at 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona

Surizon hailed as a success the mobile industry’s biggest annual event. Speaking to media representatives at the Surizon function, COO Erich Paulini pointed to the importance of the event as an opportunity for dialogue with colleagues from both the operator and vendor environments. He also explained that increasing competition in mobile equipment supply was driving further growth for Surizon. ‘With most operators now using more than one network vendor, the interest in our vendor-neutral network management system continues to accelerate.’


Surizon signs 21 Country deal with MTN Group

Surizon has signed a deal with the MTN Group for the supply and installation of the FACTS reporting solution across all MTN Group operators. FACTS will provide network performance reporting capability to MTN Operators in 21 Countries across Africa and the Middle East.
